I'm writing a short story for and English paper i have to do, and i need a good name for a fierce jungle cat.?

i don't care if you make up a name, or if its a real jungle cat, but i need a authentic sounding name that i could use for the predator that attacked my main character. Oh and please don't say a lion, or a tiger, or a cheetah etc. those are too basic, thanks.
