What kind of Beef for Pot Roast?

I am going to make pot roast in a 5 quart crock pot. What kind of meat do I pick up at the grocery store and how many pounds of it should I pick for a 5 quart pot? Also what's the difference between regular Pot Roast and Yankee Pot Roast?
