Girls does she like me and wat should i do?

im 13 goin into 8th grade and so is she. we were in the same homeroom in 7th grade an we talked a good amount. she seems really nice to me but im not sure if shes just bein nice or she actually likes me. were both popular an athletic. she teases me alot wen i asked for her number she seemed really happy that i asked. on the last day of school we sign yearbooks and i never got one so i got people to sign my shirt and she really wanted to haha. we were doin some stupid olympics thing for a cl and she kept cheering for me and sayin goo job and studf like that. last week we texted for about an hour and wenever i do text her she always says hi!! and usually asks how football practice was and uses alot of ! :) and hahas. she always asks me questions about sports and family and stuf like that. and were both doin a basketball camp so i see her there a lot also should i try askin her out or try to become better friends with her? and how do i become better friends with her? sorry this is so long thanks
