Lovely Bones was a disappointing book, anyone else agree?

The book was OK in the beginning, but it just dragged on in the middle and fell apart at the end. The author could have done this, she could have done that... but she didn't. Instead, we just listened to a girl whine about how she couldn't be with the boy of her dreams. If I was her, I would have been obsessed with getting back at Mr. Harvey. She had the chance to ease the pain of her family when she came down from heaven and went into Ruth's body. Her family needed closure; they needed to know where her body was so that they could finally lay her at peace. She could have told them what happened, where Mr. Harvey was and if anything, she probably would have helped her father who needed to know where his little girl was the most. She could have haunted or appeared on the cornfield and showed people where she was killed. But NO. She just went down to have . If anything, I do not think that a victim will be willing to have with anyone for a while.
