Proposition 8 Multiple choice. Which of these questions don't fit?

it's not about being anti gay- cause most people i would think are not. what i have a problem with is, california already has domestic partnership laws that afford same couples THE SAME EXACT RIGHTS as a married couple already. they just don't get the "married" title. but what it does do by recognizing it as the same as traditional marriage under the law, is take away rights from those that are morally opposed. i did a lot of research on this because i really struggled with a decision in the beginning. after seeing what has already happened in Machusetts. because of legalization of gay marriage, i can full heartily say yes on 8. did you know that 4 justices of the peace were fired for refusing to perform gay marriages at the court house because of moral opposition? they weren't saying they couldn't get married- just that they didn't want to be the ones to do it. they were fired, because legally they were not allowed to be "opposed" it to regardless of moral issues. A catholic adoption agency had to close their doors because it was under threat of law suits for refusing adoptions to same couples under moral opposition. the law said they couldn't do this, because the state recognizes them as a regular married couple, the agency had no legal standing to refuse adoption- regardless of religious moral opposition. there plenty of more instances that include chuches, public officials and public schools- including teachers being fired/reprimanded because of moral opposition. i am very open minded- but after learning more, i couldn't in good conscious say sure i will take away rights and force people who are opposed to something on moral grounds to accept or perform something they are against. just so a couple can have a title of marriage, when the state law already affords them the SAME LEGAL RIGHTS!! believe me- i didn't feel this strongly about this until i did the research- this is not a hate proposition like so many are trying to make it out to be. please do some more research and you will see the affect that this will have. study M.- no better indication of what is to come, than to see what has already happened.
